ETIAS & EES Update January 2925 – The EU have again delayed the implementation of ETIAS & EES. All UK Passports will continue to be stamped on entry/exit from EU, ensure you have sufficient room in your passport for these stamps.
The assumption here is that you are a UK passport holder. EU passport holders, including Republic of Ireland, do not have these problems.
Since Brexit, travel to the EU has become more problematic. Mainly length of time you can stay within the EU Schengen area, You can only stay for a max of 90 days every 6 months.
However there is now a new set of regulations coming ETIAS (ETIAS AUTHORISATION) and EES .
EES will be dealt with at the port of Departure and cause a slight delay.
ETIAS (European Travel Information and Authorisation System)
ETIAS we can assist with. It estimated to become law mid 2025.
This will impact on most of our guests who join our 2025 Tours after ETIAS becomes Law.
The ETIAS Fee is 7 Euros (November 2024).
