September & October into November are the best months for touring the Peninsula, 2024 in July was over 40c unbearable even with Aircon.
Gone are the extreme heats of July & August. Instead expect the pleasant temperatures of between 20-25 degrees.

Departure Day
Tour ends this morning. If you have travelled out with the Tour Leader on the optional package your return is included for you. With this being a totally flexible ticket, you may plan your return to best suit yourself. Changes to your sailing must be made via your Tour leader who will also offer any assistance with your route planning if required.
Depending how easy or quick you want to make your way back it will be 3-4 days travel back to the ferry port. I usually travel the no tolls route through western France.
There is an expensive alternative option a Brittany Ferry from Santander Spain, takes a couple of days on the ferry (November 2024 The fare would be £ 488 one way) for a typical MH. You would save approx £120 on Diesel not used.
If you are interested in this option let us know and we can arrange this booking.
